Tim Bruce-Dick

Tim Bruce-Dick received an MA in Art History at Edinburgh University, and a Diploma in Architecture from the Architectural Association, London. He worked for Lambeth Borough Council architects department, and Arup Associates before establishing his own private practice in London.

Tim also taught Design and History at Oxford Brookes University School of Architecture [formerly Oxford Polytechnic] from 1974 until 1992 where he led many student trips abroad as well as teaching at several Oxford University summer schools. He taught evening classes in the Appreciation of Contemporary Architecture at City University, London 1992-2009 (from 2009, following the withdrawal of government funding, these courses have been transferred to the offices of Price & Myers, Consulting Engineers, 30 Newman St, London W1T 1LT). Tim also organises three or four trips each year to see the latest architecture, as well as leading regular walks in London.
