Architectural Tours

New BMW centre, Coophimmelbau

What better way to truly understand a building than to see it? Studying from afar can teach you a lot about a building or an architect but to see their work up close and to have a chance to explore it is to discover many more aspects. Tim's evening courses can take you so far but if you would like to accompany him as he travels to see some of the best architecture in Europe read on...

In 2011 tours included trips to Italy, Portugal, Cologne/Dusseldorf - and Margate.

For 2012 we are currently considering where to go so please email Tim with your suggestions. Tim is already thinking about a long week end in Barcelona (lots of new buildings), and maybe a grand Frank Lloyd Wright tour of America in the autumn (could be expensive though) - but do put suggestions forward if there is somewhere you would be keen to go.

Please note these tours are the result of requests by an informal friendly group of architectural enthusiasts. Tim Bruce-Dick is the co-ordinator of this group which you are welcome to join. Tim books travel and accomodation upon request; all responsibility for all aspects of insurance rest entirely with individual participants who should ensure they have adequate insurance for the event they choose to join. Hotels are usually centrally located modern three-star hotels. The cost of airport transfers/local transport/food/drink are all extra unless specifically mentioned.

To book please contact Tim Bruce-Dick. The deposit for EACH tour is £100.00. In these unpredictable times these programmes are subject to variation both in cost and content. The prices shown are accurate now and Tim will do his best to keep costs down; any notable variations will be discussed with the group before final amendments are made.

If you have any questions please do feel free to contact Tim Bruce-Dick.
